Base of a sloping container is formed by a disc knife and a grid rim surmounted by flexible slats to dry- clean the beets. The screw of a feeder passing through the knife disc connects with the motor-powered collector bin fixed to the underneath side of the knife disc. The knife tilts downwards the same way as it rotates and the lower end of the tube forming the screw feeder has a side outlet with baffle adjoining this. |
