<p>Vulcanisation mould for radial tyres has a tread-moulding part formed by several segments connected to the rings for moulding the side surfaces of the tyre, and displaceable at the mould is closed, in the direction of the tread, over a sloping guide. The rings have support surfaces for gripping and guiding the edges of the tyre perform. It has the advantage of symmetrical penetration of the tread into the tyre preform. The positions of the tire preform, relative to the two halves of the segments, is retained during the entire moulding operation.</p> |
