PURPOSE:To reduce the current unbalance and the wiring inductance by arranging a plurality of gate turn OFF thyristors GTO on the same circumference, and mounting a snubber diode at the center of a circle of the snubber diode. CONSTITUTION:Four GTOs 1-4 connected in parallel are arranged at an equal interval on the same circumference, and a snubber diode 5 is disposed at the position which becomes a center of a circle of GTOs 1-4. When thus constructed, the wiring lengths of the GTOs 1-4 to the diode 5 can be equalized, thereby reducing the current unbalance and wiring inductance. |
