PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the absolute value of complex initial permeability from a low-frequency region to a high-frequency region by limiting the compositional ratio of main components, i.e., Fe2 O3 , MnO and ZnO, of an Mn-Zn based soft ferrite to specified ranges, respectively. SOLUTION: The high permeability oxide magnetic material has basic composition of MnO: 20-30mol%, ZnO: 18-25mol% and the remainder of substantial Fe2 O3 where the absolute value of complex initial permeability is 8000 or above at 1kHz and 500kHz or has basic composition of MnO: 20-30mol%, ZnO: 18-25mol% and the remainder of substantial Fe2 O3 where DC resistivity is 100Ωcm or above and the absolute value of complex initial permeability is 8000 or above at 1kHz and 500kHz. The high permeability oxide magnetic material further contains 0.005-0.02wt.% of SiO2 , 0.005-0.20wt.% of CaO and 0.005-0.05wt.% of Nb2 O5 . |
