PURPOSE:To prevent entry of rainwater and outdoor noise and to improve condensing capacity and energy efficiency by means of condensate by a method wherein a base plate is divided into outdoor and indoor base plates, the outdoor base plate is formed in an L-shape, and additionally functions as a bulk head. CONSTITUTION:An outdoor base plate 1 of an air conditioner is bent in an L-shape, and a compressor 2, an outdoor fan motor 3, a propeller fan 4, an outdoor heat exchanger 5, and a propeller fan air guider 6 are arranged on the outdoor base plate 1. Regarding the indoor side, an indoor base plate 8 is mounted to the central part of the longitudinal side of the indoor base plate 1, a water tray 9 is placed thereon, and an indoor heat exchanger 10 is obliquely arranged and is pressed from above by an upper air duct 11. An indoor air circuit is formed with an indoor fan motor 12, a cross fan 13, a stabilizer 14, and a rear air duct 15. A boundary between the outdoor side and the indoor side is partitioned by means of one part of the outdoor base plate 1, rainwater is prevented from entering. Since a material durable for support of a compressor 2 being a heavy body is used for the outdoor base plate 1, a sound shield effect is produced, and a gap is also low, and outdoor noise can be also prevented from entering the indoor side. |
