<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the overload of a driving motor for a slab rolling mill by controlling the load balance of two motors. CONSTITUTION:By a metal-in signal, when an off-delay timer 6 is in operation, contact points 8A, 8B are turned on to operate a camber controller/adjuster 5, and motors 3A, 3B are controlled through thyristor Leonard 1A, 1B so that a rolled stock is cambered. At the point when the set time is over for a camber control during the operation of the off-delay timer 6, the contact points 8A, 8B are turned off; and simultaneously, a contact point 9 is turned on and the load of the motors 3A, 3B is controlled so that, by the signal of a RMS balance controller 4, the difference of a voltage root mean square value (RMS value) which is measured by RMS meters 2A, 2B for the upper and the lower roll becomes smaller to balance.</p> |
