Drain test plugs

A drain test plug comprises a sealing strip of very soft non-cellular material preferably polynorbornene fixed in a groove or recess in a ring of choloroprene or neoprene. The plug comprises two plates which are drawn together by nut 24 to arch the ring 18 and expand the strip 20 into sealing contact with the drain bore.
