PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a heat exchange system utilizing sea water and having low-cost power cost, facility cost and management cost and excellent earthquake resistance. SOLUTION: A sea water channel 11 is built in the sea surface 10, a heat exchanger 15 is disposed in the channel 11, and sea water flow is generated by a pump 16, thereby heat exchanging the fluid in the exchanger 15 with the sea water. At the time of stopping the operation, gates 13, 14 are closed, the sea water is pumped from the zone by a drain pump 11, returned to the sea to evacuate the channel 11 to vacant, and the supply of the fluid to the exchanger is stopped. Or, the exchanger is dipped in the water flow of the river, and heat exchanged with the natural water flow of the river. |
