PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and reliably fix a fixing ring for fixing a wiper shaft to a sheet metal-made support. SOLUTION: A fixing ring 39 for fixing a wiper shaft is attached to a support formed by bending a metallic plate. Guide parts 40 are previously formed on the side wall 10 of the support 3 by plastically and inward deforming the side wall 10 from the outside. Engaging recessed parts 41 are formed on the outer periphery of the fixing ring 39 in the position facing the guide part 40. The fixing ring 39 is pressed in the support 3 in a state where the engaging recessed parts 41 are engaged with the guide parts 40. Therefore, the fixing ring 39 is mechanically locked in the rotation and fixed in the support 3.
