PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease the number of parts in a liquid crystal display module equipped with a light emitting diode as a back light source. SOLUTION: The light emitting diode 32 is mounted on a flexible wiring board 31 joined to a liquid crystal display panel 21. The light emitting face of the light emitting diode 32 is brought into close contact with the entrance face 26 of a light guide plate 25.
