PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem accompanying from the movement of a camera and the problem concerning the control or a communication cable in liquid storage tank inside examination. SOLUTION: This tank inner surface examination device for examining the state of a ceiling face 6, a wall face 5 or a bottom face 4 of the liquid storage tank 3 in use, comprises a double-hull boat 7 moving on the liquid surface of the liquid storage tank 3, an image device 8 liftable with the attitude facing to the specific direction based on the double-hull boat 7, and a computer 13 for executing movement operation of the double-hull boat, lifting operation of the imaging device 8, and an attitude operation of the imaging device 8, and also executing recording of an image from the imaging device 8, reproduction thereof or image processing thereof.
