The slide closure is provided with a closure plate (1) movable by motor drive backwards and forwards in conduits between open and closed state. The plate is provided with a seal (7), which is elastically expandable and shrinkable between an unsealed and sealed state. The expandable seal is fitted in a hollow in the closure housing. The expandable seal is hydraulically expanded. The hydraulic pressure is taken from a hydraulic hydraulic system and is reduced with a reducer valve (16), which is a valve (13) activated by a pin (14) fitted on the base of a drive cylinder, at the time that the closure plate is virtually closed.
