PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording medium processing device enabling prepaid cards and membership cards to be both processed using one recording medium processing, and a game device using the processing device. SOLUTION: The recording medium processing device includes a recording medium feed path 360 consisting of a standby area part 366 in which one recording medium can assume a standby position and a recording medium processing area part 367 provided with a recording medium processing part 365; first feeding parts 353b and 353b' for feeding recording media in the recording medium processing area part 367; a second feeding part for feeding second recording media in the standby area part 366; drive parts 352a and 352b capable of independently driving the first feeding parts 353b and 353b' and the second feeding part 354b; and a control part 362 for operating the drive parts 352a and 352b.
