A method of decreasing wear and overheating as a result of friction of ends of holders and gears of lubricating hydraulic pumps and restoration of operability thereof includes hot plastic deformation of a bushing in a die with obtaining of a tolerance for finish mechanical processing deformed surfaces. The end of bushing from the side of the end of gear is made in the form of a radiator by extrusion of wells by punches assembled into a cassette. The wells are evenly located along the circle out of the area of a sealing belt of a toothed rim of gear.
