PURPOSE:To shorten the time required for fixation by fixing a toner image formed on transfer paper by using the liquid developer in a pressurized state. CONSTITUTION:The transfer paper which holds the unfixed toner image formed by using the liquid developer is fed to a paper feed guide plate 4, the image is fixed when the paper passes between pressure rollers 1 and 2, and the paper is sent out by paper discharge rolls 5. Wet toner for pressure fixation which is used here is formed preferably by incorporating a silicone compound in thermoplastic resin in toner particles so as to prevent the offsetting of toner particles to the pressure rollers 1 and 2 and also obtain excellent fixation to the paper. Consequently, the time required for the fixation is shortened. |
