PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fabric cutting blade device for a holing machine which can surely return a fabric cutting blade to the original location after the cutting of a fabric. SOLUTION: When a blade driving solenoid 10 operates, and its plunger 10a is pulled in and retracts, a blade rod 6 descends with links 11, 12, and after a fabric is cut by a fabric cutting blade 2, a blade returning solenoid 8 operates, and its plunger 8a is pushed out, and by pressing one end part of the link 11, the blade rod 6 is urged in a manner to be raised with the link 11 and the link 12. By the urging of the plunger 8a, the fabric cutting blade 2 is separated from the fabric, and there is no trouble wherein the fabric cutting blade 2 bites into the fabric, and the blade rod ascends, and the fabric cutting blade surely returns to the original location.
