PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the generation of shift shock and the noise at a bark point and a notch feeling point. SOLUTION: In a synchromesh-type transmission comprising a linear cylinder 17 drivable by a fluid-pressure method capable of axially moving a sleeve, and a driving means for deriving the linear cylinder 17 on the basis of the command from a driver's seat operating means 29, the driving means 15 determines the maximum deriving pressure and driving speed to the linear cylinder 17 at the start of switching to a predetermined gear, and reduces at least one of the thrust generated by the linear cylinder 17 and a speed, at a position before at least one of a balk point where the sleeve is engaged with a synchronizer, and a notch feeling point where the sleeve is engaged with a freely rotatable gear by a predetermined distance, to a position over the balk point or the notch feeling point. |
