PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for a switched reluctance motor, which exerts suitable control in continuous current mode without relying on detection accuracy of the rotated position of a rotor.SOLUTION: A motor controller comprises: an inverter; a torque calculating part that estimates or measures a calculated torque T on the basis of output from the inverter and the rotor angle of a switched reluctance motor; a magnetic flux calculating part that estimates or measures as a calculated phase magnetic flux on the basis of output from the inverter and the rotor angle of the switched reluctance motor; and a switching control part that controls the inverter, using at least a reference torque T*, which is a torque command value, and the calculated torque. The switching control part includes a minimum magnetic flux maintaining part 233 that controls the inverter such that the calculated phase magnetic flux of each phase is equal to or more than the predetermined smallest value while the revolution speed of the switched reluctance motor has exceeded a predetermined speed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
