<p>The front wall (4) of the cupboard is designed to unfold to form a tabletop surface (5) by means of guides in the form of angled guide levers (9, 10) which are swivel mounted with one end on the two inner side walls (2, 3) of the cupboard and with the other end in the region of the lower edge (8) on the inside of the front plate (4) of the cupboard. When this front plate is extended the guide levers extend into the area of the upper side (5) of the table and are secured by a stop (19) against further movement into the inside of the cupboard which can be provided with sleves since the table top is kept out of the way and in the position of use extends completely before the front side of the cupboard. The unfolding movement of the levers is preferably spring (16) assisted so that in each position of the levers they are biased in the unfolding direction.</p> |
