1525816 Laminated containers CLOUTH GUMMIWERKE AG 20 July 1976 [26 July 1975] 30171/76 Heading B5N A container for aggressive media, e.g. corrosive substances, has a wall provided with an internal lining comprising an outer layer of material resistant to the media and at least one further layer between the outer layer and the container wall which extends over the entire area of the outer layer and is so electrically conductive as to enable the outer layer to be tested in respect of medium tightness by the application of a voltage to any part of the lining. The container wall may be of plastics material and the electrically conductive layers may comprise carbon black, graphite or metallic powder. The layers of the lining, which may contain rubber, may be bonded together by calendering prior to application to the container wall. |
