In "working mode", the driving engine (68) is no longer controlled by the accelerator pedal (75) but by an operating unit (88) and the accelerator pedal (75) now modulates the pressure of the actuating oil of the clutches in such a way that at least one of the clutches slips in continuous operation in so far as this is necessary to establish and maintain a particular vehicle speed. <IMAGE>
