Redistribution of ground mass from zone of natural silting to washing-out zone creates dynamically stable river or channel bed by levelling fields of water flow speeds with reducing them down to values of nonwashing-out flow speeds. Additionally formed is protective surface layer of filled body which is made up of large-size fractions of ground by placing it through displacement of suction dredge working unit initially across water stream, then along it.
