The device for activating air comprises a medium (3) of electrically conductive material for neutralization of electrical charges in air and/or in particular transported by air, e.g. dust particles which pass through the medium. The device (1) is for connection to a casing enclosing computer components for neutralization purposes of electrical charges in the air and/or in air-conveyed particles flowing outwards into the atmosphere from the casing. The electrically conductive medium is earthed and comprises steel wool. The device also incorporates a filtering medium so connected to the electrically conductive medium that air passing through the latter is also formed to pass through the filtering medium which picks up particles transported by the air. |
