PURPOSE: A dishwasher is provided to inject washing water to a dish contained in a dish basket and to improve efficiency of the dishwasher. CONSTITUTION: A dish washer comprises an auxiliary nozzle(21) having plural branch arms; a fixing shaft member(49) of a pipe shape installed along rotating shaft line of the auxiliary nozzle; a moving shaft member(41) of the pipe shape concentrically geared with the fixing shaft member to rotate; an elevating unit lifting the auxiliary nozzle by moving with right-reverse rotation of the auxiliary nozzle through mounted between the moving shaft member and the fixing shaft member; and an injection hole opening and closing unit reverse rotating the auxiliary nozzle in rotating angle range by selectively opening or closing a rotating force injection hole. The injection hole opening and closing unit actuates in a specific rotating angle range of the auxiliary nozzle. Thereby, the dishwasher injects washing water to a dish basket in various angles.
