The arrangement has a boot delimited by a floor, lateral walls and partition, and comprising a plate forming a floor structure. The plate is associated to an assembly of a plate translation unit, which translates the plate between variable positions to split the boot into two compartments. The translation unit has a rack and pinion system formed by a rack (21) and pinion. The system is associated to a spiral ring (40), which assists the displacement of the pinion on the rack, and to a carriage (30) and finger, which guide and block the plate.
