PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an R-T-B-based sintered magnet having high magnetic properties by suppressing grain growth, while minimizing deterioration of the magnetic properties.SOLUTION: In an R-T-B-based sintered magnet containing an R-T-B-based compound as main phase particles, the content of Zr contained in the R-T-B-based sintered magnet is 0.3-2.0 mass%, the main phase particle contains Zr, and in the cross section of the main phase particle, there is a main phase particle where the mass concentration of Zr at the peripheral edge in the main phase particle is 70% or less of the mass concentration of Zr at the central part in the main phase particle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
