Energy stored in L a during the trace is passed through C 3 to the resonantly returning circuit LC 1 C 2 during retrace to make up the losses. It is stated that the amplitude of the sawtooth current can be controlled by varying L a , C 3 , or by another inductance (not shown) in series with C 3 , the latter helps to control inrush currents into C 3 when T 1 first turns on.</p> |
