PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable control so as to use a sound field over wide range by performing sound field correction through a stereoscopic sound field corresponding to the position of listener. SOLUTION: After filtering processing through a pair of left side and right side sound image localization filters 21a, 21b, 21c and 21d so as to respectively localize sound images on the left side and right side of listener, rear surround signals SL and SR are added through adders 21h and 21i, attenuators 21j and 21k to set a coefficient gfr corresponding to the position information of listener and adders 211 and 21m to two-channel stereo signals L and R. On the other hand, the rear surround signals SL and SR themselves are reproduced by speakers 3SL and 3SR arranged at rear positions almost laterally symmetric to the listener through attenuators 21h and 21o to set a coefficient gr corresponding to the position information of listener so that high presence can be provided. |
