<p>The flexographic printer has a transfer cylinder (2) in contact with an ink lifting cylinder. A cylinder (3) carrying stereographic plates (4), of predetermined thickness, contacts the transfer cylinder from time to time. Another cylinder (5) has a film (6), of predetermined thickness, running on it. This periodically contacts with a plate to receive an impression. The cylinders each have a positioning ring near each end, those on the plate carrying cylinder contacting the others. There is a specified relationship between the ring axis distances, cylinder radii and plate and film thicknesses.</p> |
