PURPOSE:To prevent the ground clearance actions from being repeated frequency if a vehicle is in a traffic crowd by providing a logic circuit which generates a signal of maintaining a normal ground clearance if speed of the vehicle is reduced under the specified value. CONSTITUTION:The signal from a changeover switch 6 which changes a ground clearance from a usual level to a higher level is to be input to a controller 5. And the signal from a car speed sensor 7 is to be also input thereto. During running with a ground clearance of a higher level, that is, an increased ground clearance provided by a signal which is generated when the switch 6 is changed from the normal position to the high position, if a signal from a car speed sensor 7 exceeds the specified value, a logic circuit 51 changes over the higher level ground clearance to the normal ground clearance. And if the car speed is then reduced under the specified value, a signal for maintaining the normal ground clearance is generated by the logic circuit 51. By integrating such logic circuit 51 in the controller 5, the ground clearance actions may be prevented from being repeatedly done so that the driving comfortableness will not be harmed. |
