PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video reproducing device that can display a background picture suitable for contents of music and teeming with the sense of a season and the like without displaying the same picture during the time when playing many pieces of KARAOKE (orchestration without lyrics) music by selecting the edited video data suitable for the season and the time band. SOLUTION: In a background video code table 30, when KARAOKE music information of 'M000000' of a music code is selected as the period of spring, video data of a video code 'V0007' deals with it. When being selected as the period of summer, video data of a video code 'V0005' deals with it. When being selected as the period of autumn, video data of a video code 'V0004' dealing with it. When being selected as the period of winter, video data of a video code 'V0001' deals with it. Also, when KARAOKE music information of 'M000001' of a music code is selected as the time band of morning, video data of a video code 'V0013' deals with it. |
