PURPOSE: A fuel saver of a boiler is provided to isolate a large amount of heat discharged through a gas discharge port by mounting a left and a right gate having different thickness and to save fuel by lowering the drive frequency of a boiler. CONSTITUTION: A body(5) of a fuel saver is mounted to a gas discharge port. A gate body(7) fixes a left and a right gate(3,6) to the upper portion of the body with fixing pins(4). To discharge noxious gas of a boiler smoothly, the right gate thinner than the left gate is opened earlier than the left gate. When the boiler is stopped, the thick left gate is closed first to prevent thermal loss. An intermediate connecting pipe(2) is a unit for obtaining a space for mounting the gate body, and the both left and the right gates between the body and a connecting pipe(1) for a gas discharge hose. Therefore, the fuel of the boiler is reduced through complementary action of opening and closing by difference in thickness between the left and the right gate.
