A gene delivering complex having a vector with a specific affinity for a foreign genetic material and a second site having a specific affinity for a receptor on an antigen presenting cell

A molecular delivery complex specific to antigen-presenting cells is formed from a non-viral gene delivery system complex with foreign genetic material. The complex then enters the targeted cells through a specific receptor and overcomes the degradation mechanism, so that functional uptake of the foreign genetic material, or transduction, of the cell, results in gene expression. Also described is a method for genetic immunisation without a needle.
