摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the repairing material having excellent corrosion resistance and slag wetting-out resistance and suitable for forming application products improved in tolerance by compounding a magnesian raw material, a carbonaceous raw material, a silicon carbide raw material having a particle diameter of specific value or less and silica flower in specific amounts, respectively. SOLUTION: This repairing material contains a magnesian raw material as a main component and further contains 3-15 wt.% of a carbonaceous raw material, 2-10 wt.% of a silicon carbide raw material having a particle diameter of <=100 &mu;m and 0.3-1.0 wt.% of silica flower having a particle diameter of <=10 &mu;m as essential components. The magnesian raw material is preferably sintered magnesia or electromelted magnesia. The carbonaceous raw material is most effectively carbon black. The combined employment of the carbon black with <=50 wt.% of a pitch gives a dense application product. Calcium hydroxide such as slaked lime for plastering works may be added in an amount of 2-10 wt.% in order to improve coatability.
