PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink composition for inkjet printing, which can surely develop a color of red series by ultraviolet irradiation, and is never whitened or yellowed even when put under high-temperature, high-humidity conditions such as retort sterilization.SOLUTION: An ink composition for inkjet printing, which is viewable by ultraviolet irradiation, contains: a base resin; a fluorescent colorant; a conductive agent selected from tetraalkyl ammonium salt and tetraalkyl sulfonium salt; and an organic solvent. The fluorescent colorant is composed of a combination of 2,2'-(2,5-thiophenediyl)-bis(5-t-butylbenzooxazole) and an europium oxide-based dye including a 4,4,4-trifluoro-1-(2-thienyl)-1,3-butanedione compound and europium oxide. |
