PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To address a case requiring sound absorbing performance by building an exterior panel with a sandwich structure for air conditioning equipment to secure a sufficient strength. SOLUTION: In this exterior panel for air conditioning equipment, frame members 1 made of a resin are arranged on four sides, sheet plates 3a and 3b with external end parts thereof bent are put over the frame members 1 from both sides and a plate-shaped insulating material 2 is mounted on the internal surface thereof. The exterior panel 4 thus obtained is mounted on an outer frame of air conditioning equipment by a screw 6 piercing a part where the sheet plates 3a and 3b are plied on the frame members 1. This secures a strength with a simple structure thereby easily obtaining an exterior panel of the air conditioning equipment having sound absorbing performance. |
