<p>PURPOSE:To selectively perform both off-line and on-line transactions by using a card where void data of the off-line transaction are recorded. CONSTITUTION:A transaction device main body 3 contains a MODEM to perform transmission/reception of data to a card center via a circuit. A self-driven card reader/writer 4 accepts a card through a card slit 4a to read the contents recorded on the cad and also write data on the card as necessary. The amount limit data or the data limit data is also recorded on the card as the valid data of off-line transaction. Based on this data, an off-line or on-line transaction is selectively carried out.</p> |
