A method of, and apparatus for, transporting live fish is disclosed. The method involves sealing the live fish in a transport container (50, 51) which contains the transport water and a water processing/recirculation unit (1). Several configurations of processing/recirculation unit are described. A source of oxygen is also located within the sealed container with the end result that the fish may be maintained in an immobile hypnotic-like state during transport. |
