PURPOSE:To provide a method for coating with an adhesive layer uniformly so as to prevent irregularity of adhesive from appearing on an image as it is at printing, in an image receptor for sublimation type thermal transfer having a dye receptor layer arranged on a base material having a laminate structure using the adhesive. CONSTITUTION:In a sublimation type thermal transfer record medium having on a base material 3 a receptor layer 2 for receiving a dye which migrates from the thermal transfer record medium at heating, the base material 3 is made of a laminated body formed in lamination by using an adhesive, and a density of a solid part of an adhesive coating liquid to be used in lamination of the base material 3 is set within 10-30wt.%. At this time, it is preferable that the viscosity of the adhesive coating liquid is within a range of 10-200cps at 20 deg.C and an ethyl acetate is used as a dilution solvent of the adhesive coating liquid. |
