PURPOSE: A fluorescent lamp assembly is provided to save workforce and working time by installing a reflector shade to the lamp assembly in such a manner that the reflector shade can be easily attached or detached. CONSTITUTION: A plate is drawn to form a frame having a rim portion(32) that can be attached to a ceiling and backing portion(34) in the inner portion of the rim portion(32). Brackets(38) are installed in inner positions of the backing portion(34) to support terminal portions of a fluorescent lamp(L). Ballast components(20) are fixedly installed to the base of the backing portion(34) and connected to the brackets(38) via power lines(14). A reflector shade(40) is placed between the base of the backing portion(34) and the fluorescent lamp(L) to cover the ballast components(20) and introduce light emitted from the fluorescent lamp(L). Protrusions(46) are extruded at side positions of the rim portion(32) to support one side of the reflector shade(40) so that the reflector shade(40) can be easily assembled or disassembled. A holder(44) elastically supports the reflector shade(40) at a certain position of the frame(36) to assist the assembly/disassembly of the reflector shade(40). |
