<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood filtering unit capable of efficiently separating blood plasma or a serum without hemolysis or leakage of a blood cell component even if the amount of blood is small. <P>SOLUTION: This blood (blood plasma) filtering unit comprises: a blood filtering material wherein at least glass fiber filter paper and a microporus membrane are laminated; a member of a liquid-impermeable material, installed onto a surface of the microporus membrane, having an opening narrower than an area of the microporus membrane, and restricting an outflow area of filtrate; and a holder having at least two openings storing them, and storing the blood filtering material. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
