<p>PURPOSE:To sufficiently carry out the sintering and readily obtain an artificial aggregate at a low cost by mixing coal ash with a low unburned carbon content with heavy oil ash, increasing the carbon content, then granulating the mixture and sintering the granulated mixture. CONSTITUTION:Heavy oil ash discharged from a heavy oil burning boiler is mixed with coal ash discharged from a coal burning boiler. Since the heavy oil ash contains unburned carbon and combustibility is excellent with a low bulk specific gravity, the unburned carbon content is a required carbon content (>=4wt.%) and the self-combustion of the granulated mixture is carried out in sintering thereof to perform sufficient sintering.</p> |
