<p>The method for laying large and heavy pipes, such as concrete pipes, uses a pipe-laying device which is placed on the last pipe (1), and can move along the pipe ditch base in its work position. On the outer edge of the one pipe, is supported a cross piece (2) carrying a traction cylinder with retention pincers for a draw rope engaging on the other end of a rope traverse (7). The cross piece is placed on a work carriage (8) which travels along the bottom of the pipe ditch and the traction cylinder (3) is connected to the cross piece by a spherical joint (15). The work carriage (8) also carries a pump and its drive motor (11). A spherically headed pin of the spherical joint (15) is connected to the traction cylinder (3) and its piston rod (4), and the cross piece (2) carries the spherical seating.</p> |
