Novel isoxazole compounds; a process for the preparation of the same; and pesticides containing the same as the active ingredient. The compounds are represented by general formula (1) wherein A is a heterocyclic group optionally substituted with G or phenyl optionally substituted with G (wherein G is halogeno, C1-C6 alkyl, optionally substituted phenyl or the like), with the heterocyclic group including thiazolyl and so on; B is phenyl substituted with halogeno or the like, or a heterocyclic group (such as pyrazolyl) substituted with halogeno, C1-C6 alkyl or the like; and R is hydrogen, C1-C6 alkyl or the like. |
