PURPOSE:To enhance the service and the facility of use of an elevator by arranging more than two microphones for adults and children and for a voice input device adapted to be used for registering a call through voice recognition, at different heights. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of microphones 5, 6 are installed in an elevator hall or an elevator cage at different heights at which adults and children can input their voices, and further, there is provided a voice recognizing device 7 for comparing voices inputted through these microphones 5, 6 with voices registered beforehand, and for delivering a demanded call registered signal if a voice signal coincides with a registered voice. With this arrangement, in an elevator call registering device 8, when one of voices from the microphones 5, 6 is detected, the voice recognizing device 7 compares the voice with voices registered beforehand, and delivers a demanded call registered signal when the voice coincides one of them and a hall call or a cage call can be registered in accordance with this call registered signal. |
