<p>PURPOSE: To simplify structure, reduce manufacturing cost, and provide a remote target detection system that can be used widely and practically by detecting an object that is located within a range of 180 deg. forward using one converter assembly. CONSTITUTION: A system consists of one converter for converting energy, a transmitter/receiver for transmitting and receiving converted signal energy, a scanning drive means for performing the scanning displacement of the converter within a sweep angle of less than 360 deg., a centering means for biasing the converter to an initial position, and a terminal means for connecting the transmission/reception means to the converter electrically via the centering means.</p> |
