The light wavelength measuring device using a modulated Mach-Zehnder interferometer (1) includes a modulator controlling the interferometer (1) by means of a modulation signal (x>mod<) at the points of inversion of its characteristic line and further comprises an integrator (11) that resets wavelength dependent basic misalignment of the interferometer (1) and supplies as measuring value (f( lambda )). Said device also comprises an adder (17) which superimposes the reset signal for the wave length-dependant basic misalignment generated by the integrator (11) on the modulation signal (x>mod<) generated by the modulator and an integration unit (6, 7) integrating the mean value of said composite modulation signal (x>mod<) which is fed to the interferometer and which constantly maintains said mean value at zero value by controlling the frequency of the controlled points of inversion. |
