METHOD FOR DRIVING INK JET HEAD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for driving an ink jet head of a simple structure capable of making the ink temperature of the whole ink head uniform. SOLUTION: The number of correction pulses is variably adjusted to make the total of an ejection pulse and a correction pulse a constant value so as to keep the temperature balance of the whole ink jet head constant regardless of ejection or non-ejection of each ink ejection channel. Particularly when a uniform line is to be constituted with multi-dots, the total number of ejection pulses and correction pulses added to the ink ejection channel having less number of ejections than the highest number of ejections is to be the highest number of ejections on the basis of the highest number of ejections of the ink ejection channel constituting the line.
