A method and apparatus for Remaining set management is provided, comprising receiving a pilot, initializing a Remaining set to contain all the pilots whose PN offset index is an integer multiple of PilotIncrement and are not already members of any other set and determining if a pilot is deleted from Neighbor Set and not added to Active Set or Candidate Set. A method and apparatus for Remaining set management is further provided, comprising receiving a pilot, initializing the Remaining set to contain all the pilots whose PN offset index is an integer multiple of PilotIncrement and are not already members of any other set and determining if the pilot is added to another set. |
