PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem of an electromagnetic relay using an electromagnetic actuator that since a plunger and a rod are fixed by snap fit, strength against a force in the axial direction is reduced, and an engagement margin part is damaged and falls out.SOLUTION: An electromagnetic actuator includes exciting coils 11 and 12 forming an electromagnet, a plunger 5 attracted by the electromagnet and moved, and a rod 7 fixed to the plunger 5. The rod 7 is composed of an inexpensive resin molding. The insertion part 74 of the rod 7 is inserted into an insertion hole 51 and a holding hole 52 formed in the plunger 5. The tip of the projecting insertion part 74 is welded to the holding hole 52 thus fixing the rod to the plunger. |
